What is Reverse Osmosis?

The word “Osmosis” means the natural movement of water from a low-concentration solution to a high-concentration solution through a semi-permeable membrane.

Reverse Osmosis works in the opposite direction. By applying pressure, pure water is forced through the membrane while impurities are rejected and removed as wastewater.
